About
Originally from Connecticut, I moved to California with my mother and brother when I was five. In the sixth-grade, an arts and crafts teacher led our class in a project of writing and illustrating storybooks to read to the Kindergarteners. I fell in love with the writing process and I still have that storybook in my collection.
In high school and college, I excelled in
reading, creative writing, novel courses and wrote
my first young adult novel (Toby Tales book one) at the age of 21. Soon after, 2 children and a career of working with kids and teaching Pre-School followed, only to have my hobby placed on hold. 20 years later, I re-opened my box of projects and quickly had my favorite children's story "The Spider With So Many Shoes," illustrated and published, followed by many others. When my children's books line had wrapped up, I branched out into thrillers, and I'm excited to continue in my newfound genre.
At my daytime job, I'm a part-time Hairstylist in Wine Country, California, and I spend my free time with my pets, my kids traveling and writing new projects.
